Fully augmented links (FALs) are a class of hyperbolic links. We give an introduction to FALs and discuss a graph called the crushtacean, which is derived from a cell decomposition of the link complement. Graph theoretic properties of crushtaceans are discussed. Applications are made to fully augmented pretzel links, including proving that fully augmented pretzel links are determined by their complements, within the class of FALs.
