The double slit experiment of quantum mechanics shows that the ordinary probability sum rule of two disjoint events no longer applies. With applications to the Feynman Path integral, quantum computing, and possible generalizations to quantum gravity, this talk examines the work of Sorkin and Gudder on the two-state quantum random walk, defining a probability measure and examining the challenges that quantum mechanics produces.
