We will explain a strategy to prove that the limiting measure of chromatic zeros for a hierarchical lattice generated by a non-2-connected graph exists and is atomic. The problem reduces to the slicing of a sequence of currents by a horizontal complex line. All of this work is preliminary and the explanations will be casual and informal.
