The modulus of an annulus is a measure of its thickness. This concept has applications to various branches of mathematics, including the study of fractal sets. The talk will revolve around the moduli of a particular family of extremal annuli. It will lead us to Gauss’ class number problem in Number Theory and to regular polyhedra.
