We’ll go over the basics briefly and then talk about some more applications in additive combinatorics, especially Freiman’s theorem. Then talk about the distinct distance and the falconer conjecture over finite field and a huge class of problems that originated from these. Time permitting we’ll get into some aspects of Fourier restriction and the Kakeya conjecture over finite fields.
