University of Rochester Math Olympiad

Saturday, February 11th, 2017
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Hylan 1106A

This contest, in which schools like Buffalo, Cornell, Clarkson, Geneseo, RIT, St. Bonaventure, St. John, Toronto-Mississauga, Union, and Williams already confirmed their participation, is on the lighter side of the Putnam and the Virginia Tech competitions. It has four problems to be solved in a span of three hours, with a level comparable to the one of the easy-average Putnam problems. It’s a good opportunity for freshmen/sophomores to test their problem solving skills.

There is no pre-registration, so students just need to show up.
