Asymptotics of random tilings of planar domains

The talk will be devoted to the global asymptotic behavior of random lozenge tilings of planar domains on a triangular grid as the mesh size tends to zero. Kenyon-Okounkov conjecture claims that the global fluctuations of the height function in these models should be governed by the Gaussian Free Field in suitable coordinates. I will discuss several specific examples of domains for which this statement was proved.
