This talk will focus on a near sharp well-posedness result for the “good” Boussinesq equation obtained by Kishimoto and Tsugawa in 2010. The argument is based on the Fourier restriction norm method, coupled with a restatement of the problem in the form of a system of Schrodinger equations.
