The Poisson summation formula for a vector space is a powerful tool that arises in various areas of mathematics. Motivated by conjectures Braverman, Kazhdan, Lafforgue, Ngo, and Sakellaridis I will prove a Poisson summation formula for the zero locus of a nondegenerate quadratic form in an even number of variables. I will also discuss applications to the problem of counting zeros of the quadratic form.
