This is the second one of the talks that are closely related to the summer series of differential dynamical systems given in the last few weeks. We will discuss the foundations of complex dynamics and other materials that are essential to the understanding of G. Ble’s paper and our further research. In this talk, we plan to cover up more foundational concepts (external rays, Yoccoz puzzle, etc), with more detailed discussions on the Hubbard tree.
