Liviana’s work studies the stability of maps with infinitely many sinks (which is known as Newhouse phenomena) and non-periodic attractors. Strange attractors and period doubling Cantor attractors are two kinds of non-periodic attractors which are involved. We will give the definitions and examples about them and some related results. With such preparation we introduce the progress of her papers and the outline of her proof.
