In 2012, Lenny Taelman proved an analogue of the class number formula for Drinfeld $A$-modules where $A$ is a polynomial ring. It relates an $L$-series with quantities coming from a regulator of units and from a class module.
For an arbitrary coefficient ring $A$, several deep results generalizing this class formula have been obtained by various authors for families of Drinfeld $A$-modules, or even for some Anderson $A$-modules. We will present in this talk a new approach based on the notion of Stark units, and establish the class formula for a large family of Anderson modules containing in particular all the Drinfeld modules.
